Name - Tim     Tim

How long running - Been running 3 years

10k PB - 46:03

Half marathon PB - 01:53:56

Targets this year - Sub 45 min 10k

Fav Saying - Hills are not my friend...

Best Product - Custom Orthotics that mean I can still run.

Info - I am the least naturally talented of all of us and try to make up for it with effort and determination, whilst everyone else looks as fresh as they did when they started (especially Mat) I'm turning a rather attractive purple colour! I also make a good pace setter as I'm very consistent, although you'd only have 2 choices for speed: Stop and Go.

Because of other commitments and race organisers insistance on putting on events on Sundays I'm careful about how many races I enter, but will be running the Langley 7 and probably 1 or 2 trail races in Delamere this year. My big charity event will be The Great North Run which I will be doing for Asthma UK. (The forfit for failure to beat Sam in this involves a dress and full make up)

Outside of running I'm a mortgage advisor for the UK's best bank and a leadership team member at Barnton Pentecostal Church. I'll also play bass guitar for almost any band that will ask me to.

Name - Mat  mat

How long running - 9 years.

10k PB - 41:14

Half marathon PB - 01:43:03

Fav Race - Hawkshead (Cumbria) 15k Trail Race April 2009, or the Beeston XC 10k 2009 can`t decide.

Targets this year - To do a sub 40 min 10k in a race and to do a sub 1 hour 30 min half marathon,

Fav Saying - Hills are our friend, and where are we now?. oh and the best one is - its not far now trust me...

Fav Product - My Garmin 405 GPS watch and my Aisics GT-2140.

Info - I like to run off road whenever I can either by the River Weaver up on the Pennine Way or up Mountains, Running in Delamere Forest or up the Sandstone Trail, in the last year I have improved the above times but have not done it in races to date. I can not keep the same running pace to save my life much to the amusement of the other runners and I love extreme terrain running harder the run the better and i love running up hills, and running to work is good....
and trying to keep ahead of dave is a challenge  in its self...at the moment trying to loose some weight as iv been eating to much chocolate....mmmmmm

How long running
3 years

10k PB - 51:58

Half marathon PB - 01:55:05

Fav Race - Anything that has less than 500 entrants.

Targets this year - Run a marathon, preferably sub 4 hours. Lose another stone (in weight) before attempting the marathon.

Fav Saying - Pain is just a state of mind.

Fav Product - Falke running socks

Info - I started running in an attempt to lose weight, improve physical fitness and embrace the associated benefits to mental health. I have since been caught up in setting new targets on a regular basis, both time and distance through entering a variety of races. I am unlikely to ever be a fast runner but enjoy the challenge (and the pain) presented by running long distances.

Name - Dave
Dave up Ben Nevis

How long running - 2 Years

10k PB - 44:58

Targets this year - to compete Snowdon in 1 hour.

Info - Cant stay at one pace, likes hills the steeper the hill the better, merging into a trail runner,
must be the 10 to 16 mile sandstone trail runs each weekend to blame, wishes he could keep up with Mat.

(Note from editor, Mat says the same about Dave and just to prove the point out of 2 years of running Mats only ran faster than dave on the sprint runs about twice out of 100`s that says it all.)
